It wasn’t my dream to build an all-in-one tool for water sports centers — it was pure necessity.
My dream was to run a highly successful kitesurf school and that’s what my best friend and I did. After a while though, it started to increasingly look like a nightmare. I was constantly working, always on the phone, and never, ever had time to be out on the water.
That’s when I decided something needed to change.
I built Viking as a custom software solution for our own school. Pretty quickly, it became clear to me that the tool I had created could also benefit other water sports centers, like surfing centers.
